RARRES2 and obesity disorder: Six studies investigated the association between BMI and serum chemerin concentrations in patients with obesity or MS (total n = 1617; Fig. 4a) [4], [9], [12], [13], [15], [16], TBF% (total n = 1238; Fig. 4b) was measured in four studies [4], [9], [15], [16], BMI (rs = 0.245; 95% CI = 0.196–0.295; P = 0.000) and TBF% (rs = 0.241; 95% CI = 0.081–0.401; P = 0.003) were positively correlated with serum chemerin concentrations.
