In the gene expression signature, we identified several type I IFN-related genes as the most significantly overexpressed genes in all diseases, such as IFI44L, IFI44, IFI27 and IFIT1. We also found other genes, such as JAK2, involved in the Janus kinase/signal transducer and activator of transcription (JAK/STAT) signaling pathway and previously related to immune disorders [35]. The gene discussed is IFI44L; the disease is immune system disorder.
