Our results could have a potential implication for lung cancer treatment, and uncover a new promising therapeutic strategy to suppress the EGFR pathway, which is induced by the overexpression of RBM5. Taken together, our study demonstrates a prospective meaning that overexpression of RBM5 in NSCLCs would lead to tumor suppression through EGFR inhibition. The gene discussed is RBM5; the disease is lung cancer.
