Phenotypic analysis of other immune cells demonstrated a decrease in the percentages of CD3+CD4+ T helper cells (36 ± 2.1% versus 58.7 ± 4.5%, P ≤ 0.0001), CD14+CD11b+ monocytes (18.8 ± 1.7% versus 34.4 ± 4.6%, P ≤ 0.0004), and mature CD14+HLA-DR+ DC (47.6 ± 2.6% versus 63.1 ± 5.2, P = 0.015) in NSCLC patients compared to normal controls. Here, CD4 is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
