By analyzing the 85 DEGs identitied in the mice with STZ-induced diabetes and the 41 DEGs identitied in the mice in the STZ + Rosi group, 3 genes were found to be co-regulated by STZ and Rosi; these were myristoylated alanine-rich protein kinase C substrate (Marcks), GLI pathogenesis-related 2 (Glipr2) and centrosomal protein 170 kDa (Cep170). This evidence concerns the gene GLIPR2 and diabetes mellitus.
