A statistical significant association between Bcl-2 -938 C>A polymorphism and cancer susceptibility was found under the dominant model (OR = 1.12, 95%CI: 1.00-1.25, P = 0.04) (Fig. 2), recessive model (OR = 1.38, 95%CI: 1.11–1.71, P = 0.004) (Fig. 3), allelic model (OR = 1.15, 95%CI: 1.04–1.28, P = 0.007) (Fig. 4) and homozygote comparison(OR = 1.44, 95%CI: 1.11–1.87, P = 0.006) (Fig. 5). The gene discussed is BCL2; the disease is cancer.
