DLC1, Deleted in Liver Cancer-1, is a tumor suppressor that is inactivated by genomic deletions or DNA methylation in many human malignancies, including liver, lung, breast, colorectal, and prostate cancer (Qian et al. 2012; Durkin et al. 2007; Kim et al. 2009; Seng et al. 2007).
