The negative prognostic factors were identified by univariate analysis as tumor status (including multiple intrahepatic foci, additional organ metastases and primary HCC uncontrolled), higher serum γ-GT and AFP levels, and a Child-Pugh classification B. Because adrenal metastasis was rarely regarded as the direct death cause of HCC, RT was conducted to adrenal lesions after their intrahepatic lesions were controlled more than 2 months. This evidence concerns the gene AFP and hepatocellular carcinoma.
