Using the structure of CDK7 as a starting point, Liu et al (13) established a molecular docking model of CDK7 inhibitors and synthesized a novel CDK7 inhibitor; their results showed that this novel compound had inhibitory effects on HL60 acute promyelocytic leukemia cells, KB nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells, SMMC-7721 liver carcinoma cells, HCT-116 colon adenocarcinoma cells and A549 lung carcinoma cells. Here, CDK7 is linked to nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
