GATA3 and breast carcinoma: Three genes (described in details in Table 1): BCL2 – an anti-apoptotic protein [37]; DACH1 - inhibitor of ER signal transduction and apoptosis and regulator of cell cycle progression [38]-[40]; and THSD4, which is possibly associated with extra cellular matrix assembly [41], divided breast cancer patients according to ER status (Figure 3A-D), suggesting that these three genes and their related functions may participate in major GATA3-controlled breast cancer pathways.
