Also tested were three Fe-S cluster DNA helicases important for chromosomal stability and implicated in genetic diseases: DDX11 (ChlR1) linked to Warsaw Breakage syndrome [49], archaeal Thermoplasma acidophilum XPD (taXPD), whose human homologue is linked to Xeroderma Pigmentosum [50], and FANCJ linked to Fanconi Anemia and associated with breast cancer [51]. Here, DDX11 is linked to Warsaw breakage syndrome.
