In our center experience, first level examinations include blood tests and, in particular, complete blood cell count, ESR, CRP, immunoglobulins with their subclasses (especially IgG subclasses), rheumatoid factor, ANCA, eosinophil cationic protein (ECP), serum B12 levels (elevated in myeloproliferative neoplasms), and a screening of renal function and urinalysis. Here, RNASE3 is linked to myeloproliferative disorder.
