Among the databases which detected the expression of the IL-34 gene, 5 out of 40 tests revealed an association between the expression of the IL-34 gene and cancer prognosis (blood cancer, 1/4; brain cancer, 1/4; breast cancer, 0/11; colorectal cancer, 1/7; eye cancer, 0/1; head and neck cancer, 0/3; lung cancer, 2/6; ovarian cancer, 0/3; and skin cancer, 0/1) with a 5% significance level (Table V). The gene discussed is IL34; the disease is skin neoplasm.
