We found that EAAT2 levels did not differ between ET cases treated with and without propranolol (0.36 ± 0.23 vs. 0.42 ± 0.31, p =0.86), or treated with and without GABAergic medications (primidone or benzodiazepines) (0.32 ± 0.22 vs. 0.46 ± 0.29, p =0.36). Here, SLC1A2 is linked to essential thrombocythemia.
