To investigate the changes in the anti-inflammatory CD4+ T cell population in patients with COPD, we detected and compared the percentages of the Tregs (CD3+CD8−CD25+Foxp3+), Th10 cells (CD3+CD8−IL-10+), and CD4+α-7+T cells (CD3+ CD8−α-7+) among the three groups (Figure 2). This evidence concerns the gene CD8A and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
