As shown in Figure 2a and 2b, compared with MCRS1 depletion alone (no drug treatment) and the drug treatments alone (no MCRS1 depletion), MCRS1 silencing significantly inhibited the growth of EPLC-32 M1 and NCI-H292 after treatments with cisplatin (a common chemotherapy drug for NSCLC treatment) and cetuximab (a humanized anti-EGFR antibody used to treat advanced lung cancer). This evidence concerns the gene MCRS1 and lung carcinoma.
