In gastric cancer, high LAMP3 expression (HR, 2.766, 95% CI, 2.138-3.578; P<0.001) was significantly associated with poor overall survival in univariate analysis, along with previously reported prognostic markers, including age (HR, 1.365, 95% CI, 1.069-1.742; P=0.012), differentiation (HR, 1.620, 95% CI, 1.269-2.068; P<0.001), tumor stage (HR, 1.605, 95% CI, 1.493-1.726; P<0.001), preoperative CEA (HR, 2.325, 95% CI, 1.659-3.257; P<0.001) and CA19-9 (HR, 2.693, 95% CI, 1.865-3.889; P<0.001) levels. This evidence concerns the gene LAMP3 and gastric cancer.
