By contrast, Wang et al (19) demonstrated that the N terminus of ASPP2 binds to Ras, enhancing Ras/Raf/MEK/ERK activation to facilitate oncogene-induced senescence; Zeng et al (29) discovered that FOXM1 is upregulated in gastric cancer and that its inhibition led to termination of the cell cycle at the G0/G1 phase, partially dependent on p27 kip1. This evidence concerns the gene TP53BP2 and gastric cancer.
