The findings were consistent: adding adjustments for treatment time, hemodialysis catheter use, hemoglobin, diabetes, serum albumin, and serum creatinine showed a shift to the right (increasing the HR for men versus women), while adding adjustments for cardiovascular comorbidities, other comorbidities, and body mass index showed a shift to the left (decreasing the HR; Figure S1).
