Notably, 12 genes were found in more than one cancer type (Figure 3), and TP53 was the most frequently observed gene found in all cancers except LAML, followed by PIK3CA, KRAS, and CRYBG3. If using deleterious non-silent SNVs only, MSEA-clust identified 61 significant genes, with 30 (49%) being CGC genes. This evidence concerns the gene TP53 and cancer.
