For example, GSK126 is a very potent EZH2 inhibitor (with a Ki of 0.5–3 nM) and has high selectivity for EZH2 (more than 1000-fold higher activity than its activity for 20 other human methyltransferases).42 Importantly, GSK126 inhibits the growth of EZH2 mutant diffuse large B-cell lymphoma xenografts in mice.42 Our findings indicate that EZH2 functions as a key coordinator in apoptosis suppression. The gene discussed is EZH2; the disease is diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.
