In a study involving patients with CAD and preserved LV function, who were scheduled to undergo coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), were randomized to receive standard therapy or treatment with GLP-1 (1.5 pmol/kg/min) as a continuous infusion beginning 12 h before CABG and continuing for 48 h after the procedure. This evidence concerns the gene GLP1R and coronary artery disorder.
