Recently, an inhibitor of the CREB-binding protein–β-catenin interaction (ICG-001) was examined in a phase 1/phase 2 study as a potent inhibitor of β-catenin for the treatment of acute lymphoblastic leukemia, chronic myeloid leukemia, pancreatic cancer, and other solid tumors [39, 40]. The gene discussed is CREBBP; the disease is familial pancreatic carcinoma.
