Univariate analysis of disease-specific survival showed that GC subtype (proximal nondiffuse or diffuse), CA 19-9 > 37 IU/ml, tumor size (≥50 mm), pT4, undifferentiated tumor, lymphatic involvement, vessel invasion, invasive growth, lymph node metastasis, positive peritoneal lavage cytology, and decreased PDSS2 mRNA expression in GC tissues were significant prognostic factors of adverse outcomes. Here, PDSS2 is linked to neoplasm.
