ALB and Pleural effusion: Compared with younger patients, older patients had lower serum albumin levels (P = 0.014), lower eGFRs (P<0.001), higher serum creatinine levels (P = 0.011), higher systolic blood pressure (P = 0.028), and a higher prevalence of leg edema and pleural effusion (P = 0.020 and P = 0.048, respectively).
