ALB and infection: In patients who received immunosuppressive therapy (n = 101), we evaluated predictors of infection using clinical data obtained within 1 month from initial immunosuppressive therapy including age, sex, serum creatinine, serum albumin, urinary protein at the time of initiating immunosuppressive therapy, use of immunosuppressive therapy within 1 month after treatment, initial daily dose of prednisolone, and a <25% decrease in proteinuria in the first month after immunosuppressive therapy initiation (Table 5).
