A similar pattern emerged upon analysis of breast tumours from 194 patients whereby upregulation of BCL-XL (R2 = 0.8587, P = 0.028862) and decrease in cytoplasmic hnRNPA1 (R2 = 0.9793, P = 0.001522) staining correlated with an increase in S6K2 staining (Figure 7B and Supplementary Figure S6B). This evidence concerns the gene BCL2L1 and breast neoplasm.
