Analysis revealed after stratification of the patients into the two classes high and low CK1α expressing tumors a significant correlation between prolonged overall survival (OS) and high expression levels for 12 (B cell lymphoma, breast cancer, leukemia and lung cancer) out of 17 studies, whereas in 5 studies (lung cancer, colon cancer and liposarcoma) patients with high expression levels did worse. This evidence concerns the gene CSNK1A1 and colonic neoplasm.
