By using intravital microscopy of cremasteric microvasculature in a previously described murine model of MG-triggered acute inflammation [19,21,22], we demonstrate that pharmacological inhibition of NHE1 using cariporide ameliorated leukocyte adhesion, transendothelial migration and microvascular leakage elicited by MG. This evidence concerns the gene SLC9A1 and myasthenia gravis.
