However, further subgroup analyses based on ethnicities demonstrated that the ER-β rs4986938 polymorphism was significantly associated with an increased risk of endometriosis in mixed populations (dominant model, OR = 2.03, 95% CI = 1.56–2.64; GA vs. GG, OR = 2.08, 95% CI = 1.59–2.71; A vs. G, OR = 1.72, 95% CI = 1.37–2.17; Table 2, Figure 2).
