As there were two studies with controls not in HWE [6,39], we conducted a sensitivity analysis with these two studies excluded and the result still indicated that there was a lack of association between IL-10 -1082A/G polymorphism and the risk of preeclampsia (G allele versus A allele, OR = 0.89, 95% CI = 0.71–1.10, P = 0.28; Fig. 1B). Here, IL10 is linked to preeclampsia.
