EGLN1 was suggested to be targeted by miR-K12-2 and miR-K12-11 in both BC-1 and BC-3 PEL cell lines through a CLIP experiment [16], while EGLN2 is predicted by the different algorithms to be targets by multiple miRNAs (miR-K12-2, miR-K12-3, miR-K12-6, miR-K12-7, miR-K12-8, miR-K12-9 and miR-K12-11). This evidence concerns the gene EGLN2 and breast cancer.
