FBLN1 and urinary bladder carcinoma: A highly significant (Figure 1D, P < 0.01) difference between the normal and tumor tissues was observed as follows: 23.5% (4 of 17) negative, 29.4% (5 of 17) weak positive and 47.1% (8 of 17) strong positive staining of fibulin-1 in normal bladder specimens, whereas 54.0% (75 of 139) negative, 35.2% (49 of 139) weak positive and 10.8% (15 of 139) strong positive staining of fibulin-1 in bladder cancer samples.
