Fourth, this retrospective study is unable to directly link MET and CD47 co-expression in primary tumors to the occurrence of hematogenous metastasis in luminal-type breast cancer patients (only to lymph node metastasis) due to the fact that initially only patients without distant metastases were included in our cohort and that we were unable to systematically obtain detailed information on the subsequent development of metastasis in these patients. This evidence concerns the gene MET and metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
