Kastrinos et al. [37] reported that MLH1 carriers (n = 112) had a higher prevalence of colorectal cancer (79 vs. 69 %, P = 0.08) and younger age of diagnosis (42.2 vs. 44.8 years, P = 0.03) when compared to MSH2 carriers (n = 173). This evidence concerns the gene MSH2 and colorectal cancer.
