There is a large body of work concerning the prognostic value of ErbB2 in Pca (review, see [11]), but the present study provides novel information in two important respects: first, the data are obtained in cases who had not received any cancer treatment before the samples were taken, since they were diagnosed only after transurethral resection for lower urinary tract symptoms. The gene discussed is ERBB2; the disease is posterior cortical atrophy.
