Several previous studies have demonstrated overexpression of IL-4Rα in a variety of human cancers, for example, pancreatic adenocarcinoma, renal cell carcinoma, ovarian carcinoma, AIDS-associated Kaposi sarcoma, glioblastoma, squamous cell carcinoma of head and neck, colon carcinoma, gastric carcinoma, breast carcinoma, and lung carcinoma [19].
