Other genes whose expression was negatively modulated by age were the neuromedin B receptor (NMBR) which is highly expressed in area of the brain involved in memory and emotional processing [51] and arachidonate 15-lipoxygenase (Alox15) which is reported to be involved in development of Alzheimer's disease [52]. The gene discussed is NMBR; the disease is early-onset autosomal dominant Alzheimer disease.
