It was notable that the patients with NSCLC who had positive NEK2 and Mcm7/Ki67 expression had a lower survival rate than patients with NEK2- and Mcm7/Ki67-negative expression, indicating that NEK2 is a better prognostic factor than Mcm7/Ki67 (Fig. 3). This evidence concerns the gene NEK2 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
