In line with the previous studies which showed that both miR-146a and miR-155 exerted a regulation activity to limit the overproduction of proinflammatory cytokines [36], we found urinary levels of miR-155 negatively correlated with the expression of IL-1β, IL-6, and TNF-α in patients with nephrolithiasis. This evidence concerns the gene IL6 and nephrolithiasis.
