TNNT2 and dilated cardiomyopathy: In addition to detecting early changes in cardiac function, the results showed that the N‐terminal abnormality of cardiac TnT impaired systolic function and energetic efficiency, whereas Frank‐Starling response of the heart was preserved to compensate cardiac function, providing valuable insights into the structure‐function relationship of troponin and the pathogenic mechanism for cTnT N‐terminal abnormality to generate dilated cardiomyopathy.
