Although D3E-E398-expressing CaOV-3 showed increased expression of both N- and P-cadherin (Figure 2A), depletion of P-cadherin (Figure 2B, left), but not N-cadherin (Figure 2B, right), resulted in decreased adhesion of p70S6K-expressing cancer spheroids to the mesothelium, whereas treatment with nonspecific siRNA had no effect (Figure 2B).
