Our study describes how the obesity-linked homologues TfAP-2 (human TFAP2B) and Tiwaz (human KCTD15) regulate a unique feedback system involving noradrenalin-like octopamine and the CCK homolog Dsk, that exert positive and negative effects on Drosophila feeding behavior. This evidence concerns the gene TFAP2A and obesity due to melanocortin 4 receptor deficiency.
