According to previous studies, pretreatment with Met-CCL5 at doses of 0.1 and 1 μg/mouse significantly inhibits cellular recruitment in a murine model of airway inflammation [49]; furthermore, administration of 10 μg Met-CCL5 for 3 days (30 μg in total) at the peak of liver fibrosis significantly inhibits fibrosis progression and accelerates its regression in chronic liver diseases [51].
