There were no significant differences in age, the distribution of gender, coronary risk factors except the incidence of hypertension, the renal function as estimated by estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) or pre-hospital medications, except that angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors/angiotensin II receptor blockers and calcium channel blockers had been more frequently prescribed in the ACS patients. This evidence concerns the gene ACE and hypertensive disorder.
