The results showed that treatment of A549 cells with the COX-2 inhibitor (CB) or inducer (PMA) didn’t markedly affect the expression levels of the cleaved caspase-3, suggesting that there was no obvious correlation between the CS-6-mediated COX-2 inhibition and apoptosis induction in NSCLC cells (Figure 4F). The gene discussed is CASP3; the disease is non-small cell lung carcinoma.
