In our study, we confirmed the nuclear localization and interaction of NF-κB and p300 in lung cancer cells, and found that CS-6 inhibited NF-κB translocation from cytosol to nuclear and its binding to COX-2 promoter, abrogating COX-2 transcriptional activation, thereby reduce COX-2 expression. This evidence concerns the gene NFKB1 and lung cancer.
