With the aim to determine if the observed effects on tumor angiogenesis mediated by oxLDL/LOX-1 in C4-2 prostate cancer cells had any clinical relevance in patients, we used NCBI Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database to determine the expression of olr1 receptor in the GDS2545 dataset, which has different stages of prostate cancer progression. Here, OLR1 is linked to prostate cancer.
