Other genes, such as fusion in malignant liposarcoma/translocated in liposarcoma (FUS/TLS), angiogenin (ANG), the vesicle-associated membrane protein-associated protein B (VAPB), senataxin (SETX), dynactin, and the most recently discovered gene, a hexanucleotide repeat expansion in C9ORF72, have been identified in ALS patients [8, 9]. The gene discussed is SETX; the disease is liposarcoma.
