HSPA1B and lung carcinoma: In a study from Mexico, Partida-Rodríguez et al. [21] reported that HSP70-1 C/G showed significant association with gastric cancer; similarly, Wang et al. [27] suggest that HSP70-1 G+190C may contribute to individual susceptibility to lung cancer in a Chinese Han population; however, Guo et al. [13] found that the HSP70-1 polymorphism was not associated with lung cancer risk.
