Though clonal T-cell receptor gene rearrangement has been reported in 7–38% of extranodal NK/T-cell lymphoma cases [12], in the absence of CD56, CD8, TIA1, and granzyme B made extranodal NK/T-cell lymphoma, nasal type an unlikely diagnosis. The gene discussed is CD8A; the disease is T-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
