Being HLXB9 gene involved in motor neuron identity, we wanted to investigate its expression levels during neuronal cell differentiation, using the human neuroblastoma cell line SK-N-BE as invitro model, and its nuclear location to point out a possible correlation between the expression of HLXB9 and the chromatin re-organization, as previously shown for this gene in leukaemic cells [12]. The gene discussed is MNX1; the disease is neuroblastoma.
